THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (May 1, 2014) - Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC (Chevron Phillips Chemical) is pleased to announce that effective June 1, 2014, Kate Holzhauser will join Chevron Phillips Chemical as vice president, environment, health, safety and security, replacing Don Lycette, who was recently named senior vice president, research and technology.
Holzhauser joins Chevron Phillips Chemical from INEOS Nitriles, where she held the position of Director and Vice President, Operations in its Rolle, Switzerland office. Holzhauser holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston. Throughout her career she has held various roles of increasing responsibility in process and project engineering as well as technical, asset and business management for companies including Hoechst Celanese, Amoco, and BP.
Holzhauser will to report to Pete Cella, president and chief executive officer.
