Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP (Chevron Phillips Chemical) is pleased to announce that its Sweeny Complex in Sweeny, Texas, has been designated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as a Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star site. With this designation, all of the company's U.S. manufacturing facilities boast VPP Star status, the highest level of VPP certification.

The Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP (Chevron Phillips Chemical) Cedar Bayou facility in Baytown, Texas, has been awarded the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Outreach Award for excellence in promoting safety among employees and contractor companies by the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association (VPPPA) during its 32nd Annual Safety & Health Conference in Kissimmee, Florida.

More than 150 children recently swapped their swimsuits and sunglasses for lab aprons and safety glasses to participate in the sixth annual Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP (Chevron Phillips Chemical) Camp Chemisphere event at the company's headquarters. Children of employees learned about science by conducting a series of experiments relating to the fields of chemistry, biology, meteorology and engineering.
