Rotational molding (rotomolding) is a high-temperature, low-pressure process used to manufacture hollow, seamless parts by heating and biaxially rotating a closed mold containing polyethylene resin, typically in powder form. Because the polymer must melt and fuse without the benefit of pressure, rotational molding resins are generally limited to grades that flow together cleanly to form uniform, bubble-free parts.
CPChem offers Marlex® HDPE and MDPE rotational molding resins engineered for excellent melt flow, a wide processing window and consistent part quality. Our polyethylene portfolio for rotomolding delivers strong, low-temperature impact performance, dependable load-bearing properties and UV-stabilized options for outdoor durability.
