Chevron Phillips Chemical has produced low-density polyethylene (LDPE) using the autoclave process since 1955. Since that time, we have continually maintained a leadership position in process technology, quality and services.

Chevron Phillips Chemical produces high-performance linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) hexene resins using gas phase reactor technology. Our state-of-the-art technical service center and film extrusion team are dedicated to assisting customers with processing and application development projects.

Chevron Phillips Chemical’s metallocene linear low-density polyethylene (mLLDPE) resins are produced using the renowned and proprietary MarTECH™ loop slurry technology, which Phillips Petroleum Company introduced commercially in 1961. It is the world’s most licensed petrochemical process for the production of high-density polyethylene. We expanded the manufacturing versatility and breadth of this proven process to introduce a unique family of mLLDPE products through the development and commercial deployment of an entirely novel catalyst system. This is a testament to our inventive culture, our commitment to R&D, and our desire to further the industry by bringing leading-edge products to our customers and the marketplace.
