Michel Sanchez-Rivas holds a BSc in Chemistry and has 34 years of experience in lubricant additives, formulations, and feedstock/base oil manufacturing.
Prior to joining Chevron Phillips Chemical, Michel worked in a variety of technical and leadership roles: Quality Control Group Leader for Lubricant & Fuel Additives at Ethyl SA Research; Technical Support Representative for Chemical Intermediates (including Alcohols and Polybutenes) at Amoco Chemical Belgium R&D Center in Louvain La Neuve, Belgium; and Customer Technical Service Representative for Linear Alpha Olefins & Polyalphaolefins at BP Belgium. He later served as Market Development Manager for Ineos Oligomers.
Michel has authored or co-authored various papers and patents, and he is currently the Polyalphaolefins Business Development Manager for Chevron Phillips Chemical.
